From 10,000 feet the view of Sedona flying northwest. The airport is 4,830 feet and pattern altitude is 6,000 for piston and 7,000’ for turbine aircraft. Scenic flights are requested at 6,500 feet or above. The Colorado Plateau  is 6,000 to 7,000 feet and continues at this level to the north and east. Normal entry from the south is a mid field flyover entering downwind for Runway 03 (yellow line).
Looking Northeast from 9,000 feet. Normal pattern for O3 (yellow) and 21 (magenta).There is a 93 foot elvation difference from the northeast to the southwest downslope of the runway.
