Sedona Airport SCENIC LOOKOUT
As you drive up Airport Road, it begins to level off after the long climb you are rapidly approaching "The Overlook".
Cross the Cattle Guard.
Left is the gravel parking lot.
Right is the highest unobstructed views of Chimney Rock, Thunder Mountain, Coffee Pot and the other mountains of West Sedona.
To Park
Follow the signs and park in an orderly manner.
Pay the attendant at the booth or use the kiosk next to the booth if unattended.
Bottled water is available for purchase.
To Hike
Make sure you are dressed appropriately and have enough water.
Start at the Forest Service triple sign and head North
The Sedona View Trail is 0.7 miles which connects the Overlook and the Vortex parking lot below.
The Airport Loop Trail 3.2 miles.

Cross the road at the crosswalk.
Enjoy the View!

Sedona Airport Loop Trail is a 3.2 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Sedona, Arizona that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and running and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash. 3.2 miles
